About
Sharon Fletcher
When I was playing college golf and later when I finally got on tour, I was constantly seeking ways to improve my performance. I followed a grueling physical exercise program, ate a healthy diet, and read everything ever written about the mental side of golf. I listened to inspirational and motivational tapes as I drove across the country from one tournament to the next. I had developed my Body and my Mind, but had totally omitted the third part of the equation-My spirit. Corupus, cerebrum and spiritus- I forgot the third part of the ancient greek ideal of the total athlete. I met Nancy Rarig and we soon realized the magical piece that was missing in my golf repertoire. She taught me something so revolutionary that I knew we had to bring this to the golfing world. I was finally a complete golfer, I was fully engaged and loving it. I had learned to get in touch with my PRESENCE. The body, mind and spirit were at last unified into a soul that played golf. It is this embodied transformation and knowledge that I feel has the potential to take any golfer to the next level while contributing to the evolution of golf.

“Before I became a spiritual teacher of the Diamond Approach and co-director of NO ULTIMATES GOLF ACADEMY I was a psychotherapist. Before becoming a psychotherapist I was a college coach. I found most of my work as a coach with my players involved sports psychology. It wasn’t until I integrated the spiritual with the psychological that my players moved to the next level. I have found the body disconnected from feelings and emotions or the body disconnected from the soul not only restricts and diminishes the natural capacity of the student but limits their potentiality. Our golf school is a result of over 30 years of work and study in the field of Human Performance, Psychology and Spirituality. From this integration we offer an approach of totality where all aspects of the game are addressed in a unified whole.“
Nancy, a Certified Diamond Approach Teacher® has three Masters Degrees: Human Performance, Transpersonal Psychology and Spirituality. She is a licensed psychotherapist and a former college coach and instructor. As a spiritual teacher and instructor, Nancy brings a unique synthesis and understanding of the psychological, physical and spiritual dimensions of experience to her work with students in the golf academy.
Nancy’s specialization in sports psychology and spirituality contributed to her team winning the California Junior College State Championship.
